Job Responsibility:

  • Define and sustain tooling management system parameters
  • take the ownership of the management and improvement of our tooling’s processes
  • support storemen with the inventory level management
  • determine min/max for tooling (Kanban) and determine reorder points for the small tools
  • create and sustain a database for the cycle count
  • create and sustain KPI’s
  • analyse cycle count deviation and tooling templates obsolescence
  • collaborate in web interface deployment for coupons management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in GOP, Engineering, Project Management or other equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory management
  • ability to work as a team, communicate and take charge of projects and deliver successfully
  • familiar with the concepts of continuous improvement and value-added production
  • good knowledge of these software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Lotus notes and Visio
  • knowledge of SAP and Zeus (major asset)
  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • proficiency in French and English, both oral and written

  • Processes and verifies Nomenclatures, Hazard Class, Quantity, and inspects inbound/outbound cargo offered for transportation
  • Properly classifies freight, selects commodity codes, selects most efficient mode of shipment, and controls obligations for government transportation funds
  • Inspects Hazardous Materials to ensure proper packaging, marking, labeling, documentation, and certification in accordance with applicable Dangerous Goods Regulations (AFMAN24-604, 49 Code of Federal Regulation, International Maritime Dangerous Goods, etc.)
  • Selects and initiates contact with local carriers to arrange cost efficient transportation of equipment for containers, classified, sensitive, hazardous, or out sized shipments. Verify sizes, weights, commodity description, freight classification, required delivery date, priority, and/or other special requirements
  • Utilizes automated computer systems and programs to process and document all freight (e.g. CMOS, GATES, JCM, IBS, etc.)
  • Inspect, prepare, and process Shipping Containers IAW MIL-STD 3037
  • Prepares all required shipping documents via Tracker Lite/CMOS, assigns Transportation Control Numbers, produces labels, issues truck manifest for general/hazardous cargo, Maintains Manifest logs, etc
  • Accurately inputs Transportation Accounting Codes, consignor and consignee codes and other essential transportation data into the Cargo Movement and Operations System (CMOS) and/or Global Acquisition and Transportation Execution System (GATES)
