Job Description:

As a Material Handler, you will help to support our Automated Storage Retrieval System within our Warehouse, while also being responsible for loading and unloading products. You will utilize digital systems for all shipping and receiving processes, as well as for communicating across the warehouse team. You will be accountable for ensuring high quality standards are met for all outgoing finished product.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the Automated Storage Retrieval System, including cleaning and inspecting the system, making corrections to pallets as needed, troubleshooting, and inventory monitoring
  • Conduct trailer inspections and support shipping functions including case picking, loading and related processes
  • Support receiving functions including unloading trailers operating a forklift, inspecting products and ensuring products are placed into correct storage areas
  • Maintain warehouse sanitation practices, support partial pallet consolidation, cycle counts and physical inventory counts
  • Actively participate in all factory Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years’ experience with material handling, shipping and receiving or related functions within a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
  • 1+ years of forklift operating experience

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency using digital tools or programs such as SAP
  • willingness to work a night shift schedule
