The Production Material Handler role is responsible for supporting the production of finished lubricant products by handling and supplying approved raw materials in accordance with prescribed company procedures to ensure timely fulfillment of customer and business needs.
Job Responsibility:
Support production of large package lubricant products, including pails, drums, kegs, and IBCs
Review and process production orders for accuracy and completeness
Conduct inventory reviews to ensure material availability and accuracy
Perform in-house testing of first-piece samples, Prepare blend samples for lab testing, and log test results into quality management software
Actively participate in Safety, Lean, and Continuous Improvement programs
Complete assigned training and contribute to special projects as needed
Serve as a backup for Blender operations during absences or high-volume periods
Other responsibilities as outlined by Valvoline as required
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous experience in production/filling large pack containers (pails, drums, IBCs) in a fast paced plant environment
Proficiency in SAP
Knowledge of TDG & GHS
Strong communication skills
Fork lift proficiency
Ability to lift/move 50 lbs on a day to day basis, material handling of raw materials, and product hoses
