Material Handler II is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of product within the distribution center. The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position.
Job Responsibility:
Pallet/Case Picking
Processing customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes
Pick, pack, and process orders
Processing orders through RF technology
Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions
Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Complete all necessary RF device training
Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging
Pallet Build
Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets
Re-palletizing products for shipment
May be responsible for dock manifest duties
May be required to transport pallets by MHE
Inbound/Outbound/Inventory Movement
Load/unload shipments utilizing the WMS
Load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damages
Completes all assigned duties in a timely manner
May be responsible for operating the parcel manifest station
May be responsible for transportation documentation
Must follow all safety instructions
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Required to maintain status in C2C training modules
Material handling equipment
Operate material handling equipment in a safe manner
Report all damage and/or maintenance issues immediately
Equipment must be kept neat and orderly
Must be able to maintain equipment certification at all times

Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
Report any injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards or conditions immediately

Requirements:
High School diploma, GED or 2 years of relevant experience required
Experience with MHE (Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance, Dock Stocker)
Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment
Ability to read and interpret distribution documents
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work under minimal supervision
May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner
Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment
Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills
General distribution knowledge
