Job Description:

The Material Handler will be responsible for activities involved with ensuring a safe and organized warehouse.

Job Responsibility:

Maintenance safe work practices in a warehouse environment
Must be proficient with the use of various models of forklifts
Work with various shipping vendors to ship and offload materials
Receive materials delivered into facility including offloading with forklift, pallet jack, or by hand as required
Confirm materials received and match Bill of Lading or Packing Slip
Put away inventory into correct storage / bin locations
Maintain a clean warehouse by organizing materials and cleaning as necessary
Perform inventory counts as directed
Record serial numbers of certain items received and shipped and provide to the Inventory Coordinator
Monitor the removal of parts from the warehouse including the recording of parts removed and returned
Add or remove materials from outdoor storage containers
Use company vehicle to deliver parts to turbines as needed
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proven ability to work safely
Have a valid driver’s license
Trained on safe usage of a forklift
Ability to read and understand packing slips and confirm parts usage
Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products
Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise
