Requirements

1-2 years Forklift experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds plus bending, twisting or lifting from awkward positions or in tight spaces
must be able to push and pull cases in excess of 200lbs to 800lbs repetitiously
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand
use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
and talk or hear
The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms
The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, and/or kneel

Job Responsibility

Accurately and safely loading and unloading of materials while maintaining the flow of materials to the organizations to ensure that all aspects of the company needs are being met
Consignment inventory, location to location moves, & inventory adjustments
Assists in the cycle counting process as requested
Operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks or within the facility
Responsible for the ongoing inventory accuracy of the facility
Notifies Inventory Control, Receiving Lead & Receiving Supervisor when material control issues are discovered
Works with Inventory Control & Lead(s) during investigations of quality issues, inventory issues, shipping complaints and process improvements
Works as part of the Distribution team to ensure all requested material transfers are completed accurately in a timely manner
Transfers, transports and stages materials in a timely and accurate manner
Maintains warehouse documentation and other related records

Lift and move up to 65 lbs and frequently walk
Ability to work overtime, as necessary
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, 20/40 in both eyes
Work both independently and on a team
Ability to print, speak simple sentences and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
Good Distribution Practices must be followed
This position requires candidates with strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Verify product for Inbound Processes
Use a Radio Frequency Terminal / Scan gun to process product throughout warehouse
Assure compliance to all procedures related to Regulatory, Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements (including spills, damages, and returns)
Transport material by operating various types of material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, clamp truck, reach truck, cherry picker)
Prepare, load, and secure materials for shipment
Receive, transport, and store materials
Placard all loads as required (government, military, export, etc)
Process and stage damaged product in accordance with SOPs
Meet metric standards set by management without damage to product
Participate in projects and teams to continuously improve the operation and key result areas (safety, quality, service, and cost)
