Job Description:

This position is responsible for moving product through the distribution center, safely and accurately, while following all safety and company policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for maintaining a positive work environment by communicating and interacting in a manner that is conducive to the purpose and mission of the company overall.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process Orders Verify and apply stickers for Inbound and Outbound Processes
  • Process hazardous materials in accordance with International Civil Aviation Regulations
  • Able to use a Radio Frequency Terminal / Scan gun to process product throughout warehouse
  • Required to use assigned individual security passwords
  • Assure compliance to all procedures related to Regulatory, Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements (Including spills, damages, and returns)
  • Process and stage damaged product in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
  • Must use correct pallets and packaging (as required by customer or country) to ship product
  • Participate in projects/teams to continuously improve the operation and key result areas (i.e., safety, quality, service and cost)
  • Utilize Warehouse Computer Applications (WMS, RF Equipment)
  • Performing other tasks, as assigned
  • Complete Pick/Pack documents for Freezer products and packing lists, as required
  • Document Inventory Discrepancies
  • Complete training assignments, on time

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication & division with the assistance of a calculator
  • Ability to Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to read a limited number of two-and three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to work overtime, as necessary, scheduled, or unscheduled
  • Ability to understand temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius
  • Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Warehouse Management Systems Experience
