Job Description

This full-time, permanent position in Dorval is the perfect opportunity to combine your material handling talents with your assembly skills. Offering a competitive wage based on experience, this multifaceted role will have you measuring, cutting, and building precision components while managing shipping, receiving, and operating lifting equipment (forklifts, overhead cranes).

Job Responsibility

  • Accurately measure, cut, and assemble components according to technical specifications
  • Safely operate a wide variety of power and hand tools
  • Perform rigorous visual quality inspections, locate inventory, and label all orders with total precision
  • Receive incoming merchandise, pick customer orders, and consolidate shipments to optimize cargo space
  • Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks once orders are completed
  • Safely operate advanced material handling equipment (overhead cranes, forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, hand trucks)
  • Accurately input order data and tracking information into the company's computer system

Requirements

  • Excellent proficiency in reading a tape measure (Imperial system) along with proven skill in handling power and manual tools
  • Physically capable of managing repetitive manual tasks and comfortable with regular heavy lifting
  • Basic computer comfort for accurate data entry and order tracking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills
