Job Description:

The Material Handler III is responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, staging, and distributing materials across warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing environments. This role supports inventory accuracy, material availability for production, and compliance with safety, quality, and GMP standards while resolving complex material handling and warehouse-related issues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform shipping, receiving, storing, staging, and distribution of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment to distribution centers
  • Receive and offload vendor deliveries and complete goods receipt transactions
  • Physically locate materials and perform system transactions in SAP
  • Execute bin-to-bin transfers and material staging in SAP
  • Load carts/racks and deliver materials to production areas
  • Evaluate production schedules and determine material requirements
  • Maintain required material levels at production and staging areas
  • Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve material and warehouse-related issues independently
  • Support supervisors and assist with training and special projects
  • Work overtime as required to meet business needs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma with 4+ years of material handling or warehouse experience
  • Minimum 1 year of SAP experience and forklift operations
  • Experience using material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, shrink wrapper)
  • Forklift certification required
  • Dangerous Goods (DG) certification (IATA / DOT / IMDG)
