Material Handler - 1st Shift

• Load and/or unload trucks
• Receive, check, store, count and distribute inventory of all types
• Maintain safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state and federal requirements
• Perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goal
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
• Manage day to day inventory level
• Maintain Forklift certification
• Periodic inventories
• Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies
• Timely execution of daily receiving and shipping load board
• Stack and arrange product on pallets
• Complete forklift and pallet jack inspections before each shift
• Replenish stock while maintaining a cleaned and organized warehouse/location daily
• Move product in warehouse/location as necessary
• Rotate product and arrange according to Julian dates or FIFO
• Receive and check against receiving documents incoming product
• Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks
• Work in and out of freezers
• General support of production
• Support and provide materials to production
• Perform all other work as assigned

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English
• Must possess basic computer skills and attention to detailed numbering records
• Prefer High School diploma or GED
• 3-4 years of Warehouse, manufacturing or production experience
• Achieve and maintain forklift certification
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
• Ability to work in production/warehouse environment with consistent exposure to loud machinery
• Ability to work in extreme temperature, both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Valid Driver's License
• Fluency in English (Written and Verbal) prefer
