Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler 1 to support warehouse and distribution operations. This role is responsible for order processing, pallet handling, shipment preparation, and maintaining accuracy and safety standards within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Process customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking, labeling, and packing products
  • Operate RF scanners to complete order fulfillment activities
  • Verify order accuracy and prepare shipments for dispatch
  • Build, palletize, and re-palletize products for shipment
  • Scan completed pallets and assist with shipment processing
  • Operate walkie riders or motorized pallet jacks when required
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with housekeeping standards
  • Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards or incidents
  • Complete required training modules and maintain current certifications
  • Cross-train and provide support in other warehouse functions as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • at least 1 year of relevant warehouse/distribution experience
  • Previous experience in distribution, shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment preferred
  • Experience using RF scanners, voice picking systems, or warehouse equipment is an advantage
  • Experience operating a Walkie Rider (motorized pallet jack) is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret warehouse and distribution documents
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate in a metrics-driven environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

Nice to have
