This is a temporary, full-time position expected to last through March 24, 2026. It's possible the length of time could be extended. You are well-organized, detail-oriented, and appreciate a range of warehousing tasks. You will verify material against receiving documents, store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage, and remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment. You'll do all this using your excellent communication and customer service support skills.
Job Responsibility:
Assembles and repairs wood shipping crates, using a variety of electric and pneumatic powered hand tools, such as saws, drills, nail guns, staplers, etc.
Wraps and packs crates to prepare for shipping/storage
Operates a variety of material handling equipment to include forklifts and mechanized warehouse equipment that involves managing high pile storage
Ensures accuracy of input data to the inventory system
Unloads, unpacks, inspects, counts, and stores incoming supplies and equipment
Reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading, purchase order and shipping documents
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED
At least 1 year of related warehouse / inventory experience
Must be able and willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting materials weighing up to 40 lbs., as well as work in a warehouse environment in adverse temperatures
Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
Nice to have:
CDL License for 26ft Box Truck
Forklift operator experience
Additional experience/education
Working knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse processes
