Job Description

Avantor is looking for a Material Controller to join our team in Dunboyne on a full-time basis. You will be based in a laboratory related environment, working alongside your team colleagues, and supporting scientific processes to meet customer business needs. This opportunity is ideal for someone coming from retail, warehouse, hospitality environment, who would like to join a business leading company with possibilities of progression. We are open to applicants from all industries, as training will be provided.

Job Responsibility

  • Machine & Hand wash and perform a quality check and inspection of all glassware for damages and cleanliness, ensure disposal of damaged glassware, record all details accurately
  • Stock up all glassware in regulated laboratories, ensuring we have the right stock levels and ordering stock in where required, including adhoc order requests
  • Cleaning and regular decontamination of a variety of specialist laboratory equipment
  • Operate all equipment in accordance with procedural documents, site, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and update records for equipment servicing and routine experiments, along with any other relevant administrative tasks

Requirements

  • High school completion or equivalent (GED)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Longevity and consistent work history is desirable
  • Friendly and hard working with great positive attitude
  • Good IT skills required (including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook) preferred
  • Driving license and own vehicle
  • Comfortable working in customer-centric environments
