Casual Matchday 'Together Against Suicide' Support Worker role as part of the Premier League Suicide Prevention Project. Central to the mission of supporting the mental health and wellbeing of fans and the wider community on matchdays at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Job Responsibility:
Create a safe, welcoming presence around the stadium
Offer compassionate listening, information, and signposting to those who may be struggling or seeking help
Help deliver visible and meaningful support on matchdays
Help connect individuals into ongoing Everton in the Community wellbeing programmes such as The People's Place
Understand and apply the Club's Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines
Ensure safe working practices and appropriate reporting of concerns
Contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment
Requirements:
Qualified in Mental Health First Aid
Suicide prevention trained (ASIST, SafeTALK, or equivalent)
Experience of supporting or working with adults around mental health and wellbeing
Ability to engage with people from all backgrounds in a friendly and non-judgemental way
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends according to fixtures
