Job Description:

Master thesis assignment exploring how machine learning and computer vision can be used to validate IKEA communication templates, ensuring elements such as size, language, fonts, and positioning follow required standards and simplify work for teams

Job Responsibility:

Building a dataset of both compliant and non-compliant templates
Train a computer-vision model to classify templates and understand reasons behind invalid outputs
Exploring use of cursor/generative AI for code-development
Designing a frontend or dashboard showing failed elements and relevant statistics
Evaluating which template elements influence validation accuracy and model performance

Requirements:

Curious about machine learning, computer vision, and automation
Analytical and independent mindset
Interested in how design, layout, and technology intersect in large-scale workflows
Studying Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Interaction Design, or similar field
Fluent in English
Must be enrolled in a thesis course at university level
