Job Description

In the frame of this study/thesis you will research the applicability and use cases of Large Language Model (LLM) Agents in the scope of the creation of Technical Data. For this we provide you with access to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and the state-of-the-art LLM Google Gemini. You will also receive all the training materials you need to get started with GCP. The scope of the thesis can be refined to suit the needs of your study program. Airbus Technical Data in Customer Services is a global organisation in charge of creating, maintaining and providing technical publications such as the aircraft maintenance manual (AMM) or the illustrated parts catalog (IPC). We support all Airbus aircraft fleets around the world.

Job Responsibility

  • Getting familiar with the current state of science in the field of LLM Agent systems
  • Analyzing the TechData processes
  • Identify use cases in collaboration with the subject matter experts
  • Build a proof of concept
  • Supporting the project team in the development
  • You participate in internal, external and transnational projects to improve our products and our processes
  • You are flexible to adapt your daily work in order to answer customer or organizational requests

Requirements

  • Enrolled full-time student (d/m/w) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, production engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in Data analytics and programming (Python) and interest for Large Language Models, Artificial Intelligence
  • Basic knowledge of large language models and their applications
  • Prior practical experience in the industrial or production sector is advantageous and proficiency in Google tools is a plus
  • Analytical thinking and structured working methods are very important for you
  • You have a problem solving mentality and are a customer oriented and an open minded teamplayer
  • German is preferred and English fluent is a must
