Designing aircraft cabins today is complex and demanding. New opportunities are emerging through artificial intelligence (AI) processes, tools, and methods to enhance aircraft cabin design and significantly reduce engineering efforts. The goal of this exploration study is to pinpoint which processes can be enhanced using AI, evaluate the most suitable design tools and methods, and provide an overview of the potential value and benefits. In this work, the available data from a cabin monument should be evaluated using artificial intelligence methods and the potential of use cases shall be highlighted within a proof of concept showing the process for a new monument architecture design.
