We are looking for an experienced Master Planner to oversee production scheduling and ensure seamless operations for our client's manufacturing facility in Bristol, Pennsylvania. This role requires expertise with Epicor software and a solid background in production planning and scheduling in high-mix manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to address and resolve scheduling challenges to support on-time delivery and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and manage the master production schedule using Epicor software, ensuring alignment with plant capacity and material availability
Collaborate with operations teams to oversee daily planning activities and maintain efficient production workflows
Monitor and adjust schedules for a high-mix manufacturing environment with thousands of SKUs, adapting to shifting priorities
Coordinate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to communicate updates and support delivery goals
Identify and address bottlenecks, risks, and gaps in planning, implementing effective mitigation strategies
Participate in regular production meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within planning tools to optimize scheduling and resource allocation
Maintain close interaction on the production floor to monitor progress and address operational concerns
Support long-term capacity planning and forecasting efforts to align with business objectives
Requirements:
Proven experience with Epicor software is mandatory
Minimum of 5 years in production planning, scheduling, or related roles within a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with high-mix, low-volume manufacturing operations is preferred
Strong knowledge of capacity planning, material requirements planning (MRP), and manufacturing workflows
Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and adapt to dynamic priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard planning tools
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address scheduling challenges effectively
Nice to have:
Familiarity with high-mix, low-volume manufacturing operations is preferred
