Job Description

Lead and deliver advanced water resources projects as a Master Hydrotechnical Engineer, guiding multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality, and growing with a collaborative, inclusive firm.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and plan field investigation campaigns, defining scope, resources, and methodologies
  • Act as Technical Lead for hydrological, hydraulic, and hydrogeological studies and designs
  • Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across all project stages
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and on-time delivery of technical outputs
  • Oversee project resources, risks, and field activities, ensuring safe execution
  • Develop and review technical reports, studies, and engineering deliverables
  • Apply advanced hydrological and hydraulic modeling to support design decisions
  • Identify technical challenges and deliver practical, innovative solutions
  • Support technical proposals and client interactions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supervise team performance, workload, and project progress
  • Ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System
  • Participate in site visits, inspections, and implementation support
  • Hydrological and hydraulic modeling using HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, RiverFlow 2D, QGIS
  • Engineering support and design interpretation using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Development of water management solutions, including drainage systems and hydraulic structures
  • Integration with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental, GIS/CAD)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Postgraduate studies in Hydraulics, Hydrology, Water Resources, or related fields (preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience in hydrotechnical or water resources engineering
  • Strong expertise in hydrological and hydraulic modeling
  • Experience in multidisciplinary project environments
  • Knowledge of IMS (quality, safety, environment) standards
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
  • Spanish is an asset
