X-Bow Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team in Luling, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at our facility. You will ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety standards. This position requires a hands-on professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment, including motors, generators, and control systems
Perform routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly and safely
Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal codes and regulations
Adhere to company safety standards and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime
Test electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs
Plan and execute electrical projects, including estimating materials, labor, and timelines
Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including inspections, repairs, and installations
Provide regular updates and reports to management on project progress and system status
Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to support facility operations
Train and mentor junior electricians as needed
Requirements:
Valid Master Electrician license in the state of Texas
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician, with at least 2 years in a master electrician role
Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is highly preferred
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high-voltage systems, control panels, and automation equipment
Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and contractors
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials
Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights
Nice to have:
Additional certifications in electrical systems or safety standards are a plus
