Master Electrician

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment, including motors, generators, and control systems
• Perform routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly and safely
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal codes and regulations
• Adhere to company safety standards and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime
• Test electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs
• Plan and execute electrical projects, including estimating materials, labor, and timelines
• Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including inspections, repairs, and installations
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on project progress and system status
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to support facility operations
• Train and mentor junior electricians as needed

• Valid Master Electrician license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician, with at least 2 years in a master electrician role
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is highly preferred
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high-voltage systems, control panels, and automation equipment
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and contractors
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials
• Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights

Additional certifications in electrical systems or safety standards are a plus
