Job Responsibility

  • Manage and curate critical master data updates
  • execute requests for creation, updates, or changes to master data in appropriate systems
  • ensure data updates are consistently and accurately undertaken
  • engage with stakeholders to gather incomplete data

  • verify and correct master data information prior to syndication
  • create emergency items and manage escalations

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
  • demonstrable track record of working in similar Master Data teams
  • knowledge of departmental function, terminology and interrelationships for data types
  • previous experience in working with ERP systems (SAP S/4 HANA preferred but not essential)
  • working knowledge of core finance processes - Order-To-Cash (O2C), Procure-To-Pay (P2P), Record-To-Report (R2R)
  • ability to manage time effectively, meeting tight deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • ability to identify and escalate unstructured and ad hoc issues
  • excellent service delivery attitude
  • comfortable in operating in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, open to change
  • first time right focus with appropriate attention to detail

  • Run data quality checks and validations, investigate anomalies, and escalate issues to senior team members where needed
  • Support triaging and resolution of data issues received from stakeholders, downstream systems, and support channels
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for processes, SOPs, data dictionaries, and exception handling guidelines
  • Contribute to data quality monitoring, including preparation of quality metrics, dashboards, and reports
