Master Data Analyst, Procurement Services

• Supports the creation, maintenance, and governance of procurement master data, including vendor, material, contract, and pricing data
• Provides support for questions, issues, and problems for an assigned dataset
• Measures and monitors data management maturity for an assigned dataset
• Collaborates with Procurement SMEs to define metadata for subject data components
• Identifies data accuracy issues and associated business process weaknesses
• Executes policies and standards established by the data governance program
• Maintains and demonstrates strong understanding of data standards and policies
• Analyzes data that does not align with requirements and recommend corrective actions
• Actively participates in the organization’s data governance processes, tools and programs

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or MIS
• 2 years of experience in data management, data governance, data quality, reference (master) data management, and/or designing and implementing functional systems and data in a structured process

• Knowledge of data management best practices, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Understanding of data governance landscape, processes, and design principles
• Effective customer service skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies
• Prior experience working with ERP systems (i.e., SAP) and procurement platforms (i.e., Ariba)
