Job Description:

The certified mastectomy fitter will help build a successful Appearance Center. The mastectomy fitter will help Cancer Patients and Survivors reclaim their self-image and self-confidence, through their responsibilities and their passion for others. Engaged in helping support Missys' Boutique and the hospital's mission.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help patients and survivors overcome the obstacles in appearance caused by treatments or surgery
  • Provide service and select products designed for the patient’s needs
  • Ensure that all areas of the center runs smooth and effectively by assisting all those that visit and volunteer
  • Helping the manager achieve the goals necessary to build a successful appearance center
  • Computer skills/able to understand all aspects of Retail Software
  • Works to secure Patient/Customer satisfaction
  • Attend Trade shows, Health Fairs, Other promotional functions when necessary
  • Help with Year-end Inventory
  • Willing to receive on-going education and training
  • Able to perform opening and closing when necessary
  • Work effectively with Manager and Volunteers
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department
