Job Description:

The Massage Therapist is responsible for ensuring the guest satisfaction in the spa by performing services to the best of their ability and maintaining Four Seasons standards throughout all procedures, for responding to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and comfort and for complying with all Four Seasons policies, procedures and standards.

Job Responsibility:

Provides a professional and relaxed service to all guests
Retrieves, prepares and monitors all treatment linens
Practices and follows all Board of Cosmetology requirements
Keeps all areas neat and clean
Plays singing crystal bowls to start and end each treatment
Utilizes, knows and markets all retail products
Performs all massages and body treatments on the spa menu
Provides services in guest rooms as well as on massage chairs during events
Assists spa reception and spa attendants
Advises guests of all areas of the spa
Utilizes the appointment book in Book4Time
Handles any guest inconvenience or complaint
Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Ensures safety procedures are followed
Abides by all policies, procedures and protocols
Participates actively in meetings and trainings
Reports for duty punctually

Requirements:

Current Florida license as massage therapist by the State Board of Massage Therapy
At least two years’ experience in upscale operation of four or five-diamond spa hotel
Must be qualified to do Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage
Ability to remain calm and organized in busy environment
Strong communication skills
A strong sense of organization and ability to prioritize in a busy environment
A flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays
Must possess legal work authorization in the United States

Nice to have:

Bi-lingual abilities desirable
Knowledge of Book4Time or other computerized spa scheduling system is preferred
Preferred previous hotel and computer knowledge
Prior knowledge/training of specialized massage techniques and body treatments preferred
