The Massage Therapist will work as a member of our Hibiscus Spa team, performing Spa services at the highest level including: massages and body treatments in a safe and professional manner on our guests.
Job Responsibility:
Performing all Spa services in a safe and professional manner in accordance to both the Spa Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety guidelines
Maintain ample inventory of products and equipment necessary to perform all Spa services and to keep the Spa Supervisor/Manager informed of any low stock
Keep a neat and orderly work area consistent with the high standards of the facility
Constantly maintain an up to date knowledge of both theoretical and practical information pertaining to the therapist position and be aware of market trends
Ability to answer all questions related to both the products and services offered within the Spa facility
Ensure punctuality in both arriving for work and commencing guest appointments throughout the day
Must be enthusiastic, honest, efficient and professional in appearance
Must possess good communication skills
Requirements:
A current Massage therapy/body treatment license that meets the criteria in order to obtain a license to practice in Grand Cayman
Minimum 2+ years working experience as Massage therapist or related field
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of massage therapy
Hospitality experience
Skin Care Training required
Must be qualified in full Anatomy & Physiology of the body
Strong guest relations/customer service experience
Must be able to perform all types of massages including
Deep Tissue, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone and Reflexology
Excellent written & verbal communication
Ability to multitask in demanding environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holiday
