Job Description:

The Massage Therapist will work as a member of our Hibiscus Spa team, performing Spa services at the highest level including: massages and body treatments in a safe and professional manner on our guests.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing all Spa services in a safe and professional manner in accordance to both the Spa Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety guidelines
  • Maintain ample inventory of products and equipment necessary to perform all Spa services and to keep the Spa Supervisor/Manager informed of any low stock
  • Keep a neat and orderly work area consistent with the high standards of the facility
  • Constantly maintain an up to date knowledge of both theoretical and practical information pertaining to the therapist position and be aware of market trends
  • Ability to answer all questions related to both the products and services offered within the Spa facility
  • Ensure punctuality in both arriving for work and commencing guest appointments throughout the day
  • Must be enthusiastic, honest, efficient and professional in appearance
  • Must possess good communication skills

Requirements:

  • A current Massage therapy/body treatment license that meets the criteria in order to obtain a license to practice in Grand Cayman
  • Minimum 2+ years working experience as Massage therapist or related field
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of massage therapy
  • Hospitality experience
  • Skin Care Training required
  • Must be qualified in full Anatomy & Physiology of the body
  • Strong guest relations/customer service experience
  • Must be able to perform all types of massages including
  • Deep Tissue, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone and Reflexology
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Ability to multitask in demanding environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holiday
