The Spa Therapist plays an integral role in the success and day-to-day operations of the Four Seasons Spa and Fitness Center. As the winner of Missouri’s Best Hotel Spa Award in 2024, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining state-of-the-art facilities. The Spa Therapist is responsible for performing a variety of massage therapy services, including body massages, chair massages, body treatments, poolside services, cabana massages, after-hours massages, mini treatments, and other specialty therapies. Following each treatment, Spa Therapists are expected to educate guests on self-care and home maintenance routines. The spa embodies all Four Seasons cultural values while maintaining established standards, with professionalism expected at all times. This role reports to the Spa Manager and is overseen by the Senior Spa Director.
Job Responsibility:
Maintaining a welcoming, helpful, and relaxing environment for every guest
Providing a variety of massage therapy services and recommendations in a professional manner to all clients
Practicing the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene, and keeping tools and equipment in excellent working condition
Collaborating with team members to ensure guests are always taken care of
Performing a variety of massage therapy services, including body massages, chair massages, body treatments, poolside services, cabana massages, after-hours massages, mini treatments, and other specialty therapies
Educating guests on self-care and home maintenance routines following each treatment
Requirements:
Licensed through the State Board in the state of Missouri required
At least two years' experience in massage, preferably within a high-end spa or hotel preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
Ability to perform all massage services and make adjustments per guest needs
Excellent customer service skills to ensure guests have the best experience possible
