Job Description

A nationally recognized plaintiffs’ law firm known for high-stakes and high-impact litigation is seeking a Mass Torts Counsel to join our expanding team. Our firm has served as lead counsel in prominent class actions, mass torts, and public client cases, helping secure billions in settlements and judgments for our clients. We have been recognized as leaders in the field and consistently handle challenging, novel legal matters.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and conduct all phases of discovery
  • Prepare clients for depositions, defend clients at depositions, and conduct depositions of experts and opposing parties
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide case updates and gather information
  • Perform legal research
  • draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
  • Proactively drive cases forward while managing complex dockets, deadlines, and priorities

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active state bar license
  • 2–5 years of experience at a personal injury or plaintiffs’ law firm, including mass tort litigation
  • Experience taking and defending depositions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

  • Manage discovery workflow from start to finish, including drafting materials, coordinating document gathering, organizing productions, and applying Bates labeling accurately
