Job Description:

A highly motivated Business Analyst is required to lead requirements, design and implementation for critical cross functional changes impacting our Markets Operations partners. This role will blend technical acumen, detailed analysis, problem solving and communication skills to drive activity at pace whilst identifying and mitigating risks and issues.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements Elicitation: Gather and analyze business requirements
Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between current and desired business processes
Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders
Change Management: Support change management activities
Data Analysis: Analyze data to validate and prioritize requirements
Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain documentation related to projects
Leadership: Assume informal leadership role within teams
Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst with demonstrable track record of delivering projects
Project experience in Financial Services domain
Knowledge of Financial Markets products and services and wider-Banking domains
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrable experience in working with large data sets in Excel or more advanced tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Understanding of Operations flows within a Capital Markets business
Familiarity with software tools and techniques including requirements management tools
Modelling tools (e.g., Visio)
Data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
