Join the Markets Quantitative Analysis (MQA) Centre of Excellence, a vital division within Citi's Global Markets business. Here, we're at the forefront of developing sophisticated analytical models crucial for pricing securities and effectively managing the Firm's market positions. This involves everything from mathematical research and model derivation, to coding, rigorous testing, and thorough documentation for formal validation, ultimately delivering these models to our Trading Desks and integrating them into the Firm's books and records systems. We also play a key role in the development of core tools, processes, and analytics, and we are committed to providing hands-on training through work on global financial technologies.
Job Responsibility:
Contribute to the development, optimization, documentation, and performance analysis of critical financial models within our analytics libraries
Develop and optimize powerful tools built upon our advanced analytics libraries
Support our development infrastructure, databases, and productivity tools, along with managing the build, testing, and release cycles of our analytics libraries
Requirements:
Active Hungarian student ID or Hungarian citizenship
Current enrollment in a BSc/MSc/PhD program in any STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.) or similar disciplines
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Great attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a collaborative team-player attitude
For Quantitative Analyst/Developer roles: A keen interest in and foundational knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as C++ or Python
For Quantitative Analyst roles: Demonstrated strong numerical and analytical skills
For Quantitative Development & Operations roles: Experience or a strong desire to learn about the Linux operating system and SQL
