Citi Markets Operations is transforming and simplifying its operating model, creating an exciting environment which encourages diversity of thought and inclusion. The role involves ensuring robust control environments, compliance with global regulations, and proactive risk management. The position supports the Markets business and has significant impact across the lifecycle of a trade, partnering with internal stakeholders and external clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactive engagement with Singapore country and APAC regional stakeholders
  • Drive and implement sustainable processes, automation/migration initiatives, and standard adherence to policies
  • Working closely with Operations Control on developing and adhering to an effective control framework
  • Involvement in shaping/building standardized and sustainable operational workflow and service standards for new product/production variations launches
  • Ensuring robust infrastructure and tools are in place to effectively manage risk and service clients
  • Preparing & publishing strong MIS information for regular Management Updates
  • High level of focus on digitization, automation and elimination of manual touch points

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 3-7+ years of experience in Tier 1 global financial institutions
  • Extensive experience in handling large projects delivering operational activities, especially in Foreign Exchange products
  • Strong risk management and control mindset
  • Strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives
  • Self-reliant, good problem solver & results oriented
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
  • Ability to establish and build trust with stakeholders in the organization as an advisor and partner with a clear client orientation
