Your responsibilities will include risk mitigation, managing strategic transactions, and overseeing business contracts. Join us as a Markets Legal Global Contract Services – Knowledge & Data Team member of the Knowledge & Data Team within the Markets Legal master agreement negotiation team (Global Contract Services) in Pune, India.

Job Responsibility:

  • Reviewing final agreements for completeness
  • Extracting relevant legal and business data points
  • Assisting with counterparty diligence and execution of master agreements
  • Managing management information
  • Storing legal documents in Barclays’ central document repository
  • Maintain controls to ensure data elements captured from trading documentation accurately flow to downstream consumers
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements in relation to record retention are satisfied
  • Meet requirements of the Chief Data Office with respect to critical data points
  • Efficiently answering queries, data analysis & remediation, production of reporting and ad hoc project work

Requirements:

  • Experience with data management and analysis, document management systems and managing document repositories
  • Ability to navigate various IT systems used by the Legal function
  • Experience assisting with various research, remediation and ad hoc projects
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Tertiary/University or bachelor’s degree (LLB or equivalent) preferred
  • Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
