Job Description

Markets Program Execution & Transformation provides centralized, cross functional management and support for the implementation of major business change programs across Citi Markets Products and its Clients, as well as operating several data and business execution related activities. The Data Acquisition Group lead will play a critical role in delivering strategic data programs and managing data acquisition demands from regulators and the Markets business. The role demands a broad skill set and understanding of Capital Markets products, program management, and technical data analysis.

Job Responsibility

  • Direct day-to-day activities of a data analyst team, including triage of work efforts, SQL and Python query building, reviews, and issue resolution
  • Manage data extraction activities to facilitate ad hoc regulatory data requests, ensuring consistent, timely, and accurate responses
  • Support the Markets business as a subject matter expert in sourcing and utilizing strategic data and building automated reporting solutions
  • Proactively identify and address data quality issues and reporting discrepancies
  • Partner with Technology and Risk & Control teams to help centralize data and improve data quality in the firm
  • Champion technology advancement by identifying opportunities to adopt automation and new technologies to improve efficiency
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets
  • Support in the delivery of data workstreams for strategic programs, including scope definition, project plans, and business requirement documentation
  • Communicate work effort status, issues, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis
  • Drive adherence to Citi program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the portfolio

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience into Capital Markets or related Markets product and Data analytics
  • Advanced skills in SQL (Must) and Python
  • Understanding of Capital Markets products and regulations
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred
