Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Markets Counterparty Credit Associate for its CIB Markets Counterparty Credit Management (CCM) team. CCM sits within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Markets Division and is the front line credit team responsible for underwriting, grading, and ongoing monitoring of counterparty credit exposure with certain institutional client types.

Job Responsibility:

Focus on counterparty credit for hedge funds and private equity funds
Conduct due diligence with alternative asset managers
Write initial and annual credit reviews
Set and recommend credit limits for approval
Monitor client financials
Approve bespoke trades and/or margin levels
Monitor margin calls
Support senior CCM portfolio managers in credit coverage for leveraged funds
Contribute to various CCM portfolio management tasks
Have external client contact and interaction with internal business partners

Requirements:

2+ years of CIB Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
Knowledge of capital markets and counterparty credit risk, including the major financing and OTC traded products
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
Demonstrated commitment to risk management and core values of the organization
BS/BA degree or higher
