Job Description

We’re looking for a Marketplace Partnerships Lead to help grow and mature the supply side of our Marketplace - a platform where third-party data and content suppliers showcase their products to a global customer base. This role sits at the intersection of commercial partnerships, onboarding, and supplier lifecycle management. You’ll identify and secure high-value suppliers, lead negotiations, manage onboarding activities, and act as the ongoing commercial and relationship owner. By working closely with Product, Engineering, and Legal, you will ensure suppliers integrate successfully, meet expectations, and deliver long-term value to our customers. This is a high-impact role for someone who brings commercial acumen, partnership experience, and a deep understanding of technology-driven products.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify, qualify, and source new suppliers aligned with Marketplace strategy and customer demand
  • Lead commercial conversations from initial outreach through negotiation and contract signature
  • Manage due diligence, onboarding workflows, and coordination with Product and Engineering to ensure smooth integrations
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships through regular engagement, expectation setting, and lifecycle management
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual, commercial, and SLA commitments
  • Provide suppliers with usage, revenue, and performance insights, highlighting opportunities for growth
  • Act as the first escalation point for supplier issues, resolving blockers through cross-functional collaboration
  • Support Product and Commercial teams with market intelligence, competitive insights, and supplier capability evaluations
  • Track KPIs across supplier activation, performance, revenue contribution, and pipeline health
  • Help shape supplier strategy and prioritisation, ensuring alignment with Marketplace goals and roadmap direction.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years’ experience in partner management, business development, or commercial roles within B2B technology, betting, media, or data environments
  • Proven success negotiating and managing high-value partnerships
  • Strong understanding of data/content products, APIs, or digital platform ecosystems
  • Skilled relationship manager with experience maintaining long-term strategic partnerships
  • Confident communicator able to influence internal and external stakeholders at senior levels
  • Highly organised, commercially minded, and able to manage multiple supplier conversations simultaneously
  • Analytical approach to evaluating supplier performance and market opportunity
  • Experience in sports data, media rights, or marketplace ecosystems preferred
  • Important: The role also requires collaboration with the US (outside regular work schedule).

What we offer

  • A collaborative environment with colleagues from all over the world (Engineering offices in Europe, Asia and US) including various social events and teambuilding
  • Flexibility to manage your workday and tasks with autonomy
  • A balance of structure and autonomy to tackle your daily tasks
  • Vibrant and inclusive community, including Women in Tech and Pride groups which welcome all participants
  • Global Employee Assistance Programme
  • Calm and Reulay app (leading well-being apps designed to support focus, quality rest, mindfulness, and long-term mental resilience)
  • Online training videos
  • Flexible working hours.

  • 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances at a SaaS or platform company, ideally one that sells through or alongside other platforms
  • Experience structuring and closing commercial deals with technology partners: marketplace listings, API integrations, embedded arrangements, or co-sell agreements
  • Comfort working across the full deal lifecycle and cross-functionally. You can write the first outreach email, lead a negotiation, coordinate with legal on contracts, and align engineering, sales, and marketing without needing to be managed across those relationships
  • Ability to hold a technical conversation about APIs, OAuth, MCP, and integration architecture without being an engineer. You can sit across from a partner's product team and understand what they're building
  • A clear framework for prioritization: you'll inherit active conversations and a portfolio of live integrations, and you need a system for deciding where to invest time and when to let something sit
  • Proactive and self-directed, with comfort operating in ambiguity. You're building the partner program as you run it
  • Experience in the AI/LLM ecosystem, developer platforms, or marketplace partnerships is a plus (Nice to have)

  • Drive post-launch growth for live integrations (Glean, Atlassian, Claude, ChatGPT, and others), including co-marketing campaigns, deeper integration roadmaps, usage optimization, and revenue expansion
  • Develop and iterate on commercial models for different partner types: wholesale credit pricing, referral structures, design partner terms, and enterprise co-sell motions
  • Identify and prioritize new partnership opportunities by evaluating strategic fit against acquisition, ARR, and retention impact
  • Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success on accounts where partner and direct motions overlap, ensuring alignment on attribution and customer experience
  • Build and refine the partner program alongside leadership, including tiers, incentives, support levels, and partner enablement materials
