Job Description

We are hiring a B2B Marketplace Operations Manager to serve as the operational architect for Deel’s transition to a curated B2B ecosystem. This role is at the center of our "one-marketplace" experience, ensuring app discovery, license management, service referral and software resale motions operate in one connected flow. You will lead the effort to turn marketplace activity into a high-impact revenue stream while ensuring a frictionless experience for Deel’s customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Own day-to-day operations of Deel’s app resale and marketplace infrastructure (web + in-platform)
  • Maintain accurate partner and app listings including positioning, pricing context, service model (managed vs. self-managed), and geographic coverage
  • Ensure the marketplace operates as a trusted single source of truth for internal GTM teams and customers
  • Support execution of app resale motions across priority partners/vendors and categories
  • Operationalize workflows for license provisioning, transfers, and renewal routing
  • Help distinguish and operationalize managed vs. self-managed resale offerings in collaboration with Ops/GTM stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Procurement and partner/vendor stakeholders as resale workflows evolve from manual to API-assisted operations
  • Apply and maintain a high bar for client-facing marketplace quality
  • Prioritize differentiated B2B solutions over low-signal, non-strategic offerings
  • Implement tiering and filtering logic so high-fit partners receive high-fit lead flow
  • Own the continuous evaluation of partner relevance by segment, use case, and market demand
  • Manage lead distribution and track reciprocal value exchange from resale and marketplace partners
  • Support governance of discounts, margin logic, and commercial terms visibility
  • Track key monetization KPIs and partner performance with RevOps and Partnerships
  • Own operational reporting on outbound referrals, conversion, and resale contribution
  • Serve as the go-to resource for AEs, CSMs, and OBMs for partner and app referral routing and general inquiries
  • Create clear internal guidance on partner and app selection, alternatives, and customer-fit use cases
  • Surface field feedback to inform roadmap, partner prioritization, and marketplace UX improvements
  • Collaborate with Product Partnerships and Partner Marketing on campaigns and bundles to build initial and sustained long-term adoption of the web and in-platform marketplaces

Requirements

  • 3–6 years in B2B marketplace, partner, ecosystem, GTM operations, or a related SaaS/tech role
  • Experience supporting resale, licensing, procurement-adjacent workflows, or partner commercial programs
  • Strong operational execution across data integrity, process design, and cross-functional coordination
  • Solid understanding of B2B software categories (HRIS, ATS, security, finance, productivity, IT ops)
  • Ability to define and enforce quality/tiering standards in partner ecosystems
  • Comfort with revenue-share / discount mechanics and performance tracking
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for partner positioning and GTM enablement

Nice to have

Bonus: experience with marketplace and app store operations

What we offer

  • Stock grant opportunities dependent on your role, employment status and location
  • Additional perks and benefits based on your employment status and country
  • The flexibility of remote work, including optional WeWork access
