Robert Half Marketing and Creative has a client seeking a Marketing Technology Project Manager to lead a high-impact marketing technology transformation initiative. This individual will play a critical role in managing the migration from Marketo to Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) and Marketing Cloud Engagement, while driving alignment across a highly cross-functional stakeholder group. This is a highly visible role within a global marketing organization, ideal for a project manager who excels at leading complex technology transformations, organizing stakeholders, and driving clear communication at all levels of the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead Marketing Technology Transformation
  • Manage end-to-end project execution for migration from Marketo to Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement
  • Partner closely with internal teams and third-party consultants to ensure successful platform implementation and integration
  • Own the first 2–3 months of focused migration efforts, followed by broader martech transformation initiatives
  • Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Coordinate across a diverse group of stakeholders, including marketing, business unit leadership, systems/IT, and platform teams
  • Establish and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables using Agile methodologies
  • Bring structure and organization to an evolving environment lacking formal PM discipline
  • Executive Communication & Reporting
  • Provide clear, concise updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Develop stakeholder communications including: Weekly / ongoing summary emails, Bi-monthly presentation updates (deck format)
  • Translate complex technical project details into digestible business-level insights
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations leadership and demand generation teams
  • Serve as a centralized point of coordination for marketing, sales (Sales Cloud), and platform teams
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment, engagement, and buy-in throughout the transformation lifecycle

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience, with a focus on technology or marketing technology initiatives
  • Proven experience managing platform migrations or large-scale system implementations
  • Experience with Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), or Salesforce Data Cloud strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations and martech ecosystems
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional stakeholders at multiple levels, including executive leadership
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to: Summarize complex initiatives clearly
  • Adapt messaging for technical vs. business audiences
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Experience with Wrike or similar project management tools is a plus
