Carex is partnering with a financial services industry partner to identify a Marketing Strategy Lead for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This leadership role will serve as a hands-on strategic partner responsible for translating business objectives into actionable marketing plans that drive acquisition, engagement, and lifecycle performance. Working closely across consumer growth, media, and lifecycle teams, this individual will connect audience strategy, funnel performance, and media execution to measurable business outcomes. This is a player-coach role requiring a balance of strategic leadership and execution, with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making and marketing effectiveness.

  • Lead and execute marketing strategies that support priority growth initiatives and business objectives
  • Strengthen end-to-end marketing funnel performance to improve acquisition, engagement, and retention outcomes
  • Develop and refine audience segmentation and targeting strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness
  • Partner with consumer growth, media, and lifecycle teams to align marketing initiatives with performance goals
  • Drive data-informed decision-making through analysis of KPIs, attribution models, and campaign results
  • Design and implement A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to optimize marketing performance
  • Evaluate and improve campaign and media effectiveness to increase marketing efficiency and return on investment

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of experience in marketing strategy, performance marketing, growth marketing, or related disciplines
  • B2C experience within a crossfunctional team
  • Proven experience leading full-funnel marketing initiatives with measurable business impact
  • Strong background in acquisition marketing, demand generation, and lifecycle or CRM marketing
  • Expertise in audience segmentation, targeting, and customer engagement strategies
  • Deep understanding of marketing funnel dynamics and key performance drivers
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience working with attribution models, performance metrics, and KPIs
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
  • Demonstrated success optimizing campaign and media performance to improve outcomes and ROI
  • Ability to connect strategic priorities with execution and measurable business results
  • Experience within consumer marketing environments, preferably in the insurance and/or financial services sectors
