We are looking for a Marketing Strategist with a consulting background from top-tier strategy firm with hands-on experience in market research, sizing and definition who has worked on retail brands and/or in travel industry. For the last 20 years consumer habits and the market of experiences changed multiple times, but we haven’t. This presents an extraordinary opportunity to grow the experience gifting category and as Marketing Strategist in HQ Marketing team you will be central to driving it. You will be working with company leadership to identify and size market opportunities, define customer-centric strategies, shape the product, offer and the future of experience gifting. You will be a self starter with years of experience and proven track record of creating winning marketing strategies which result in tangible business outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Own the marketing strategic foundation
Own the definition of ICP, target audiences, and customer segmentation
Analyze customer needs, behaviors, and decision drivers across international and hyper-local markets
Conduct deep market and category analysis to identify structural trends, growth levers, and risks
Define and size the Total Addressable Market (TAM) for priority opportunities
Quantify business and revenue potential, including short-, mid-, and long-term growth scenarios
Ensure consistent interpretation and use of audience and market data across all Business Units
Define the value proposition, positioning and offer direction
Define and refine the value proposition by audience and use case in retail and online
Define brand and product positioning among strategic audiences, including key differentiators and reasons to believe
Define the product and offer strategy
Direction based on the market opportunities and customer insight
Support definition of price positioning and price points, in collaboration with trading and commercial teams
Ensure the value proposition and offer are consistent across all distribution channels
Guide the implementation and stakeholders collaboration
Challenge existing assumptions and proposals using data, insights, and customer perspective
Identify gaps in insights, data, or capabilities and recommend research or analysis to close them
Partner with analytics and insights teams to improve customer, market, and performance visibility
Support prioritization of initiatives based on strategic fit, impact, and feasibility
Contribute inputs to annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Monitor performance of strategic initiatives and adjust recommendations based on results
Ensure learnings from tests, pilots, and campaigns are captured and scaled where relevant
Requirements:
8-10 years of professional experience
At least 3 years in management consulting with top strategy firm
Proven experience in marketing strategy, market sizing, and customer experience-driven projects
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and presentation skills
Experience in work with retail as well as digital products
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have:
