Under the general supervision of the Communications Director and guidance of the Marketing Supervisor, this position will function as a Marketing Specialist, with a particular focus on creating and managing video and digital content for the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA).
Job Responsibility:
Creating and managing video and digital content
Perform duties associated with the marketing, communications, and graphic design needs of the department, to support communications of WDVA veterans homes, cemeteries, central office, claims office, veterans museum, and events as needed
Requirements:
Video and photo editing, including the use of relevant editing tools and software
Strong videography skills (recording, framing, basic production techniques, etc.)
Writing content for social media platforms and other digital communication channels
Must meet the requirements to operate a State of Wisconsin Fleet vehicle
Wisconsin residency is required for LTE appointments
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship) at the time of application
