As a Marketing Specialist | Social Media & Content Creation, you’ll work on-site in Isernhagen closely with your colleagues in our marketing team. You are the voice, the face, and the creative engine behind the social media presence of our brands VetZ, easyVET, petsXL, and vetOS. You translate technological innovation into emotion, veterinary medicine into stories, and the future into tangible content.
Job Responsibility
Develop and execute social media storylines across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
Regularly appear on camera—authentic, professional, and approachable
Manage channels and communities with a confident voice
Identify relevant influencers and creators and collaborate on formats and partnerships
Monitor cross-platform trends and understand which ones matter for our brands
Translate complex veterinary topics into clear, relevant content for both veterinarians and pet owners
Independently produce content such as copy, photos, stories, reels, videos, interviews, and behind-the-scenes material
Film, edit, and produce content that makes our vision tangible
Work with existing templates and create visuals and graphics that resonate
Use modern AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or Nano Banana to efficiently develop and execute ideas
Bring content to the point and craft messages that resonate with both veterinarians and pet owners
Master tonal shifts—from precise and professional (B2B) to approachable and visual (B2C)
Independently create hooks, headlines, captions, ad copy, and long-form posts
Understand the fundamentals of funnels, audiences, and conversion optimization
Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and Google
Define KPIs, track them, and understand which levers drive which outcomes
Support the marketing team in project management—from campaigns to events
Meet deadlines, stay organized, and ensure content is delivered at the right time and place
Work closely with colleagues from marketing, consulting, sales, and product teams
Requirements
Experience in social media management, either in-house or in an agency environment
Confidence with camera work, editing, and short-form content
Willingness to be on camera—likable, confident, and natural
Strong copywriting skills and a feel for great writing in all its forms: hooks, social copy, ad copy, long copy, short copy
A strong sense for social media trends across LinkedIn and Instagram
Interest in veterinary medicine, animal health, and/or software topics
Experience with common social media platforms, ads, and influencer collaborations
Basic knowledge of tools like Canva, Premiere, CapCut, or similar editing tools, as well as Adobe Creative Suite
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects effectively
Excellent German language skills and confident writing in any situation
Ability to switch to English when needed to present your projects on an international stage
