Job Description:

Aligned with the sales growth strategy, the Marketing Specialist – Fire Protection is responsible for spearheading the strategic development and implementation of integrated B2B marketing communication campaigns targeting the global commercial construction industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for driving alignment with the Fire Protection sales leaders
  • Interface with local and global sales, corporate and satellite marketing team members and business teams to develop new market business case, sales strategy and go-to-market strategy development - drive execution of integrated marketing plan
  • Bridge internal and external resources to strategically lead and develop tactical plans and drive them to completion
  • Tactical areas include but are not limited to sales collateral (technical, marketing, training), digital (social, website, video, email, SEO), public relations and advertising
  • Assist in development of annual and long-range market plans and budgets
  • Leverage market insights and voice-of-customer to create clear and value-oriented content to break-through channel noise – lead strategy development, creative execution and budget oversight for social, print and digital promotion, including KPI and reporting development
  • Ensure the timely flow of projects and that all corporate graphic standards and guidelines are met
  • Drive strong interdepartmental coordination and communication
  • Identify areas for operational improvement within responsibilities to support the company’s overall objectives

Requirements:

  • College degree in marketing and/or communications desired
  • 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing
  • Construction industry experience desired, but not required
  • Ability to develop strategic and innovative marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Robust collaboration and leadership skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Must have computer skills and knowledge of relevant software including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, SharePoint, Teams/Zoom, and WordPress
  • Canva and Photoshop skills desired
  • Ability to clearly present complex information
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with outside vendors, customers and sales force
  • Ability to travel as needed -15% travel
  • Ability to meet deadlines, budgets and objectives and work as a team with other Marketing and cross department professionals
  • Ability to work independently when required as well as work well across regions/time zones as part of global team
