The CSJ Marketing Coordinator will report to the Team Lead and will assist with a variety of marketing and communications functions to increase the organization's visibility. This position is a great fit for someone who is interested in gaining experience in a broad range of marketing skills, including proofreading and storytelling, using online marketing tools, desktop publishing and graphic design.
Job Responsibility:
Keeping the Agency website (WordPress) up to date and creating new pages as needed
Creating and scheduling creative social media content on a variety of platforms
Creating and editing videos
Researching, writing, and editing a variety of communication materials for use in print and online including brochures, ads, newsletters, banners
Designing social media posts and print materials using Canva
Adapting marketing techniques to help each program reach their target market and problem solve to market effectively on a budget
Collaborating with team members and colleagues
Other responsibilities as required
Requirements:
Must be between the ages of 16 and 30, at the time of their start of employment at Archway
Must be a Canadian citizen, immigrant with permanent residency status, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
Ability for direct, in-person contact with on-site staff and clients
adherence to health and safety protocols is required
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work in a shared office space
Good English verbal, written, and active listening communication skills
able to communicate clearly and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and varying levels of English
Well-developed organizational and time management skills
