Unlike traditional 'hunter' sales roles, this position is designed for a professional who excels at Account Management and Technical Support. You will inherit an established portfolio of industry-leading semiconductor clients, acting as their primary consultant and solution provider.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the dedicated account manager for a stable, pre-existing base of semiconductor manufacturing clients
Act as the technical liaison for R&D engineers and procurement departments to address ongoing inquiries and issues
Maintain long-term partnerships through regular engagement and high-touch customer service
Focus 80% of efforts on account servicing and 20% on introducing new product innovations to existing partners
Develop marketing and sales plans based on customer forecasts and production schedules
Coordinate with regional stakeholders in Singapore and Japan for strategic training and performance reviews
Facilitate business networking and relationship-building activities in line with Japanese corporate culture
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is essential for technical credibility
Experience in the semiconductor or industrial manufacturing market is highly preferred
Fresh graduates with an engineering background are highly encouraged to apply
Willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia and internationally to Singapore and Japan
