Job Description:

Recruiting is one of the main drivers for Verkada’s growth and maintaining a high hiring bar is the utmost importance. Given Verkada’s recruiting team is decentralized, as the Marketing Recruiting Manager, you will report directly to the CMO and build a long term relationship with marketing leadership to hire exceptional talent across multiple disciplines within the marketing organization including engineering, sales, design and marketing. In this role, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of Recruiters responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and closing top talent from unconventional backgrounds in a highly competitive market. You will have high visibility, meaningful ownership, and direct impact on the hiring strategy across current and future offices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Hire, lead and mentor a team of end-to-end recruiters who successfully attain quotas by sourcing and close top-talent
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the Marketing organization to understand hiring objectives and develop recruiting strategies to achieve hiring goals
  • Use data to evaluate, analyze, and optimize current hiring processes and present hiring data and insights to leadership
  • Design scalable recruiting systems, processes, and pipelines that enable speed, quality, and repeatability as we grow
  • Drive innovative sourcing, engagement, and closing strategies to close top talent in a highly competitive market

Requirements:

  • 7-18 years of recruiting experience
  • At least 3 years leading or managing high performing recruiting teams
  • Success developing recruiters by providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance
  • Proven track record of partnering, influencing, and driving change with Executives
  • Ability to adapt and navigate ambiguous situations while working in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • 0 inbox mentality
  • Must be independently authorized to work in the U.S.
