Job Description

The Marketing Promotions Manager role is a key driver of Supplier Partner growth at IPS Rebates. This strategic position focuses on joint business planning, setting clear objectives, and developing impactful marketing campaigns that increase case volume, enhance School District engagement, and strengthen the value proposition for Distributor partners. The role delivers measurable results and supports long-term business growth. This role is a critical part of a new IPS Rebates structure and Marketing Team. This position bridges marketing, sales, analytics, and supply chain to architect and execute supplier campaigns that elevate Supplier brand visibility and demonstrate clear ROI for the IPS K-12 focused program.

Job Responsibility

  • Creates a repeatable JBP process for Supplier Partner meetings
  • Analyzes IPS supplier partnerships and creates annual targets for Joint Business Planning sessions to support Supplier objectives
  • Applies insights to map a 12–18-month calendar of supplier promotional activities
  • Communicates K-12 and Smart Rewards insights to all Supplier Partners
  • Develops and administers annual supplier surveys
  • Maintains all supplier contact details in Salesforce
  • Conducts on-site supplier visits to strengthen relationships, uncover operational insights, and identify joint growth initiatives
  • Serves as the Smart Rewards expert, conveying clear value and business impact to engage supplier participation
  • Applies JBP insights, supplier website reviews and resources to devise and present plans for Smart Kits & Smart Resources
  • Recommend Smart Rewards improvements to continually evolve the program for Supplier satisfaction
  • Leads the development of K–12-focused supplier campaigns using insights from JBP sessions to drive volume growth
  • Partners with the Communications & Growth Manager to align target audience messaging and outreach
  • Activates campaigns across HubSpot, IPS Rebates Smart Rewards, Smart Kits, and social media platforms
  • Tracks campaign performance and synthesizes results to optimize impact
  • Assembles and delivers Smart Rewards and campaign results to suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Partners with Supply Chain Contract Owners to evaluate new opportunities and deliver compelling IPS program presentations to prospective suppliers
  • Informs Supply Chain partners of K-12 trends, supplier successes and challenges
  • Participates in contract meetings for K-12 focused partners

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of marketing, communications and/or business planning experience, demonstrating a record of progressively increasing responsibility
  • Experience in developing customer-focused growth promotions
  • Experience and demonstrated ability on the use of the following: email marketing software (Pardot or HubSpot) and Salesforce
  • Demonstrated confidence in presenting and selling promotional growth opportunities to middle and upper management, both remotely and in person
  • Above average computer skills, specifically in Microsoft office applications – Teams, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively and connect with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Foodservice Industry experience is required
  • K-12 segment experience is an additional asset
  • Must possess a 4-year college diploma in Marketing or Communications

  • Quarterly Planning: Lead the quarterly planning process for promotional activities, taking into account business priorities, partner objectives, past performance of promotions, and market trends to proactively identify future growth opportunities. Align promotional plans across central and local marketing teams, ensuring the necessary technical, reporting, and targeting foundations are in place for successful execution.
  • Promo Strategy Development: Work with the Marketing Director to define and implement a robust promotional strategy based on business objectives, with a particular focus on how promotions and value propositions can strategically change customer behavior and drive return for Deliveroo and our Partners.
  • Customer Focused Promo Programmes: Partner with our Tech, Data Science and insight teams to deeply understand customer needs, ensuring our promotional and value messages deliver compelling value and resonate with our audience. You’ll work with other members of the team to execute these across CRM and In app merchandising touchpoints.
  • Promo Execution & Operations: Lead promo execution, ensuring its operational efficiency across the teams. Provide on-going feedback to the Central teams to influence the tech roadmap to address opportunities and pain points. You'll ensure best-in-class execution and clear, relevant communication to customers.
  • Budget Management: Owning large budget lines for key initiatives, tracking and reporting spend closely and optimising plans for anticipated over / under spends.
  • Lead Test & Learn Agenda: Be the voice of Middle East on the global test and learn agenda, and work closely with global teams to design and execute local experiments, continuously seeking to optimize performance and codify promotional best practices.
