We are looking for a Marketing Project Manager to join a CPA firm on a remote, contract basis. This role will lead and coordinate a range of marketing initiatives that strengthen visibility, support business development, and keep key stakeholders informed on progress and outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a service-focused environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead recurring planning sessions with the industry group leader to review priorities, share progress, and align marketing strategies with business goals
Communicate project developments, key milestones, and measurable results to internal teams and firm leadership in a clear and timely manner
Partner with the Marketing Manager to support regional marketing efforts and deliver campaigns tailored to local market needs
Oversee day-to-day coordination of marketing projects, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and documentation remain on track
Use Workfront project management platform to organize workflows, monitor status, and maintain accurate project records
Develop and execute marketing initiatives across email, digital, and brand-building channels to increase awareness and engagement
Contribute to campaign planning for B2B audiences, helping create structured programs that align with firm objectives and audience needs
Requirements:
3–5 years of practical experience managing and delivering marketing projects from planning through execution
Demonstrated strength in organization, prioritization, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in fast-moving environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present updates and recommendations with confidence
Hands-on experience with Workfront
Background in B2B marketing, including exposure to email campaigns, digital marketing, campaign planning, or brand awareness initiatives
Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and move projects forward with limited oversight
Nice to have:
Experience in services marketing, such as accounting, legal, or consulting, is helpful but not essential
