As our Marketing Performance Leader, you’ll lead the way in defining how we measure success and improve the impact of all our marketing efforts. Together with your teammates, you’ll ensure that our marketing plans are smart, data-driven, and fully aligned with IKEA’s mission to create value for the many people.
Job Responsibility:
Defining and owning the Marketing Performance Framework - KPIs, measurements, and reviews
Driving significant improvements in ROI across paid, owned, and earned media channels
Leading performance analysis and sharing key insights to influence marketing strategies globally and locally
Collaborating closely with Customer Engagement, Integrated Media, and Marketing Communications teams
Ensuring ongoing follow-up on marketing output, capturing learnings, and continuously improving plans and results
Acting as a role model of IKEA values, promoting openness, co-creation, and a culture of learning
Partnering with commercial and cross-functional teams to create a seamless multichannel marketing experience
Developing and maintaining performance dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to provide transparent visibility of KPIs
Requirements:
Natural leadership and the ability to build trust and strong relationships across diverse teams
Formal qualifications in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Ideally, over 10 years of experience planning, measuring, and driving marketing performance - preferably in retail or home furnishing
Analytical and forecasting skills, with strong focus on using marketing resources wisely
Experience in customer segmentation, including developing segmentation approaches and conducting follow-up analysis
Confidence in working with performance dashboards and translating data (e.g., Power BI insights) into clear actions
A good understanding of multichannel marketing and customer behaviors across online and offline channels
Strategic thinking paired with a practical, problem-solving approach
Clear and inspiring communication skills, with a commitment to living the IKEA values
The ability to thrive in fast-moving environments
Fluency in English and enthusiasm for working with global teams
Nice to have:
Experience working with media agencies is a plus
