Make Your Mark: BlackLine is seeking a Performance Copywriter to join our Demand Generation team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing high-converting copy for landing pages, organic social, and digital ads that support full-funnel campaign objectives. You will leverage AI tools to enhance creativity and efficiency, and use data to test, iterate, and optimize performance against key growth targets. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work with organic social, paid media, product marketing, website, and brand teams.
Job Responsibility
Content Activation: Activate core marketing assets by writing compelling, high-converting copy that drives action, focusing on crafting bold headlines, persuasive ad and organic copy, and conversion-optimized landing pages
Campaign Strategy & Brand Alignment: Maintain alignment with internal teams and quarterly integrated campaigns, manage updates of assets, and stay updated on style guidelines and brand voice
AI-fluent Copyediting and Optimization: Utilize and experiment with AI writing tools to accelerate the copywriting process and enhance content performance
A/B Testing: Develop and execute A/B tests for ad copy and landing pages to improve CTR, conversion rates, and CPA
Data-Driven Analysis: Regularly analyze creative performance data across variables to identify trends and inform future creative strategies
SEO & CRO Support: Collaborate with SEO and CRO teams to apply best practices and support website health initiatives
Creative Management: Act as liaison for creative projects, managing delivery of assets from design teams and ensuring timely launch of new content
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with key marketing stakeholders to ensure a unified brand message
Project Management: Utilize project management system to manage workflows, timelines, and deliverables
Requirements
Proven experience in a content marketing, copywriting, or demand generation role
A strong portfolio showcasing your copywriting skills across paid advertising, social media, and web
Hands-on experience with various paid advertising channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.) and a solid understanding of paid media strategy
Demonstrable experience with integrated digital marketing campaigns
Excellent project management skills and proficiency with tools like Wrike, Trello, or similar
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in a team-oriented environment
Nice to have
Interest in demand generation and paid media across multiple channels
Experience in the B2B SaaS or financial industry
Basic design experience or a good eye for visual aesthetics
