As a Marketing Manager on the Geo Marketing Team in our Taipei Office, you’ll play a vital role in scaling Taboola’s market presence across Taiwan and Hong Kong. You will act as the strategic architect for regional growth, bridging the gap between sales objectives and creative execution to drive measurable business impact. By owning our event, PR, and content engines, you will directly influence how the world’s leading brands and publishers perceive and engage with our technology.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute the marketing strategy for Taboola Taiwan and Hong Kong by collaborating with Sales Leadership to drive business growth and maximize both immediate and long-term ROI
Own hosted events (e.g. tentpole events, roundtables, seminars) and sponsored industry events (e.g. IAB Hong Kong event, DMA event), from coordinating operations with different internal and external stakeholders, and managing our presence to creating impactful content to drive leads and build awareness
Plan and execute customer retention activities including client entertainment events and gifting
Generate data-driven insights using a variety of tools and platforms to develop public speaking narratives, white papers, and sales collateral
Build and maintain strong relationships with tier-1 media overseeing PR article production and driving increased media exposure in collaboration with the global PR team and local PR agency
Strategically manage social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram. Create and distribute engaging content across social media and blogs, working closely with content and design vendors, and ensuring performance metrics are tracked and analyzed
Curate captivating video content to attract potential clients and increase Taboola’s brand awareness within the Greater China region
Localize and adapt marketing materials into Traditional Chinese, including product updates, sales presentations, vertical-specific content, case studies and market insights
Requirements:
Native or fluent proficiency in Mandarin and English
5+ years of B2B marketing experience, featuring a strong foundation of 2–3 years in field marketing roles
Thorough understanding of various offline and online marketing channels, including event marketing, content marketing, PR, influencer Marketing
Equipped with strong Traditional Chinese writing proficiency, and a willingness to leverage AI tools intelligently to excel in content production
Understanding of digital advertising and e-commerce terminology within the Chinese market
Exceptional project and time management skills, with a proven ability to independently execute complex marketing events
A team player who is comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in an ever-changing, international environment
Experienced in developing data-driven content by gathering and analyzing insights for content marketing, blog articles, white papers, and sales collateral
Willing to travel between Hong Kong & Taiwan is required.(e.g. Once a quarter)
