Reporting into the Communications & Brand Engagement Manager, you will step into an established, capable team, helping them continue to evolve, innovate, and lift their impact. Your focus will be on strengthening brand foundations, sharpening strategic storytelling, and embedding best‑practice marketing frameworks across the organisation.
Job Responsibility:
Refine our client’s marketing approach with a strong brand lens — lifting the quality of storytelling, messaging, and positioning across all channels
Review existing processes, roadmaps, and performance measures. Bring modern marketing performance, ROI, and planning frameworks that help lift capability and impact
Work with functional leaders to build annual and multi‑year marketing strategies, audience segmentation, campaign plans, and calendars that support business priorities
Guide an established team to deliver integrated digital campaigns, meaningful content, and consistent brand experiences for key audiences and stakeholders
Partner closely with Product, CX, Communications, and wider business teams to ensure marketing is aligned, connected, and clearly understood across the organisation
Use data, analytics, and market insights to evaluate effectiveness, refine direction, and ensure marketing investments deliver value
Requirements:
10+ years in senior marketing/brand roles within complex or multi‑brand organisations
A track record lifting brand clarity, marketing performance, and strategic planning
Strong digital marketing capability and confidence using performance insights to guide decisions
A collaborative, engaging leadership style — you bring teams together and raise capability
Curiosity, fresh thinking, and the confidence to challenge what’s always been done
Have enterprise or large‑corporate marketing experience
Understand what best‑practice marketing looks like and can influence others toward it
Are hands‑on, customer‑driven, and confident presenting ideas
Must have current NZ work rights
